Introduction

Peace Worldwide is working together with Governments, United Nations, Common Wealth and other international institutions to promote and protect the basic fundamental human rights of the masses declared in the universal charter of human rights of United Nations to build a global village of lasting peace, social and economic justice and development for the 21st century. Peace Worldwide is an independent, non – political, non – profitable and non – governmental organization registered under social welfare acts 1961 in Pakistan and NGO in special consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations since 2005. Peace Worldwide was founded on 7th September 1996 by the current Chairman of PWW Hector Aleem.

Dear members and supporters of Peace Worldwide, We are pleased to share the good news with you. Mr. Hector Aleem, Chairman, Peace Worldwide has been honorably acquitted from blasphemy case. While pronouncing the final judgment of the case Honorable Additional Session judge Rawalpindi Mr. Sarfaraz Akhtar announced that Hector Aleem is acquitted as the case against him is false and illegal. He observed that this highly sensitive case has been handled very casually by the Investigation Agencies of Police and District Prosecutor. He further ordered the higher authorities of police to take severe action against the Concerned Officers regarding the false case against Mr. Hector Aleem.

The judge explained in the order that the Investigation Agencies of Police and District Prosecutor failed to give any evidence against Mr. Hector Aleem. He further wrote that there is a clear contradiction between the complainant and the Investigation Officer because the Investigation Officer claims that the complainant gave a supplementary statement against Hector Aleem while the complainant says that he never gave any kind of supplementary statement against Hector Aleem nor does he know anything about him. The judge also said that this kind of case cannot be investigated by an officer below the rank of SP (Superintendent of Police) according to Section 156 – A Cr.P.C. while in this case the investigation officer is just a Sub Inspector. The judge said that there is a law for everything in the books and the Police Officers must never do anything which is not written in the books of law. The judge further remarked about the investigation as illegal and careless.
